General Membership Information
Members in the non-trialling classes (i.e. first session classes) are required to attend by
6.30 p.m. to assist with the setting up of equipment. Training will start as soon as this
is done. If this is not possible for some members, either regularly or on 'one-off'
occasions, it is expected that they will remain at the end of training to take down and pack up
the equipment, which is a crucial element in Agility training. All members are reminded of the
need to 'do their bit' and be considerate towards each other. Members are required to make
adequate arrangements for the tethering/crating of their dogs, for the comfort and safety of
all dogs and handlers on the club-grounds.
All dogs must be on lead or crated when not actively engaged in class or training.
Unsettled/barking dogs are not to be tethered/crated on or near the clubroom veranda. Tethered
dogs should be attached to their peg by a lead of no more than 1 metre in length.
Dogs may be trained without a collar if under control, or wear a flat collar without
attachments (no ID tags or anything hanging from the collar). No slip collars are allowed
in an Agility environment. Leads should be between 1 m and 1.5 m in length.
NB: You must wear your current Membership badge-tag when in class.
