Height Cards
Height Card Protocol
No dog will be measured without the required notification to the nominated person. The nominated person will be a member of the AAC and elected into that position by the other members of the AAC. The nominated person will be listed on the SA Agility website along with contact details.
Judges or other persons qualified to undertake official measuring of dogs must receive notification and the official measurement form from the nominated person to conduct a measurement.
No dog will be measured unless there is a specified area clearly marked that is a hard level surface.
No re-measuring will be conducted without the express permission of the AAC.
No dog may enter a Trial, with the exception of those considered Country dogs, without first obtaining an official height card. Country dogs must still obtain an official height card before entering a trial ring for the first time.
Any dog that in the opinion of the measurers cannot stand steadily and thus guarantee an accurate measurement will not be measured.
